History of the College
Government Polytechnic Lakhisarai was established in 2015.Government Polytechnic, Lakhisarai is an AICTE approved institute for 3-years Diploma courses. This institute is affiliated to State Board of Technical Education (SBTE), Bihar, Patna.

The institution is founded by Government of Bihar. Government of Bihar took pains to establish the institution in this extremely backward and neglected area and worked tirelessly,
day and night to realize dream come true. The college imparts teaching in four vocational cources and efforts are being made to B.Tech.
The college has grown rapidly by the sincere efforts of dedicated faculty members and staff.
